I am honored to have my artwork, "Midnight Battery Defense," featured here on this website, as well as my written narrative of the military operation that is the subject of the art.

It may be a matter of interest for you to know that the original painting, mentioned above, is now on permanent exhibit in the United States Field Artillery Museum at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. The large oil painting measures over 2.5 meters, and is the first exhibit that a person views as they enter the building.

Frau Inge Pongratz remains dear in my memory, as she did a great work in assisting my work to recount the military operations around Kotzting near the end of the war. My best to you all.

Britt Taylor CollinsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9210377316415613854.post-80508875542236207612015-12-09T23:40:39.102+01:002015-12-09T23:40:39.102+01:00what do you mean with Krottenthaler links?what do you mean with Krottenthaler links?aviatarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05574228556945574915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9210377316415613854.post-33469991259715069342015-12-01T17:53:16.936+01:002015-12-01T17:53:16.936+01:00Interessant. Leider haben die Krottenthaler Links nicht funktionieren, so kann ich nicht in diese weiter zu suchen.

Interesting. My father was in the 90th infantry and my great grandfather was Josef Krottenthaler of Eging. Unfortunately, the Krottenthaler links do not work so I cannot look into this further.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16423248859809635784noreply@blogger.com
